The Minority Economic Development Committee (M.E.D.C.) provides economic empowerment and leverage resources to serve the minority business community. We create alliances with strategic partners that provide access for minority businesses to have financial sustainability and to build foundational structures while advocating for economic pathways to promote a better quality of life.

Small Business Committee
The Small Business Committee assists membership staff to effectively communicate Chamber values to members and the community. This committee directs ambassadors, volunteers at ribbon cuttings, grand openings, chamber events, and helps to provide an increase in membership participation.

Ambassador Committee
The ambassadors are volunteers who serve as liaisons between the Chamber and its membership, providing business mentoring and visitations throughout the year. They are actively engaged at all Chamber events such as ribbon cuttings and grand openings. These are highly motivated members who volunteer their time to maintain communication with a select number of businesses and to ensure that they maximize their Chamber investment.

The Finance Committee oversees the organization's financial health by managing budgets, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring fiscal responsibility. They also make recommendations on financial policies and strategies to support the chamber's goals and initiatives.

Marketing Committee
The Marketing Committee will meet to discuss new marketing ideas and discover ways to revamp the Chamber's current marketing strategy. We will discuss the current ways we are marketing and what is working best and other avenues we should consider. Best practices with social media and or other creative tools we could be using, etc.

The Events Committee helps plan and organize various events, such as networking mixers, business expos, and educational workshops, to engage and benefit members. They coordinate logistics, secure sponsorships, and ensure events run smoothly to promote community involvement and economic growth.
