Holiday Inn Earns No. 1 National Ranking on Total Quality Score

The Holiday Inn in Rocky Mount has recently been ranked #1 among the national chain’s top Holiday Inn hotels in its Total Quality Score rating for the company for the entire year 2009. The study, which measures hotel product, is conducted quarterly by Intercontinental Hotels Group, the national brand of more than 1,300 full-service Holiday Inn hotels. It ensures each of its franchised and company-managed properties provides and maintains the brand’s leading standards in quality and customer service by measurement of individual hotel surveys completed by both company inspectors and hotel guests.

Holiday Inn-Rocky Mount opened in 2008 as a prototype for the total refreshment of the brand, and by December 2010, all hotels worldwide will be converted. With over 1,319 Holiday Inns and 2,018 Holiday Inn Expresses worldwide, these brands represent the largest division of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).
